SELBORNE ZIG ZAG FEST 2011 – 7 & 8 October

The 7^th annual Zig Zag Festival will be held on Friday 7^th and Saturday 8^th October, featuring a fantastic selection of local real ales and ciders, a range of fine wines (and fizz!), superb locally produced food and exciting live performances from local Hampshire bands.

The weekend starts on Friday night when Selborne’s own Zig Zag Band will be playing in the village hall. Then on Saturday lunch time, Newton Valence’s ‘Newtrons’ will be back and The Secret Agency will be in the hall on Saturday night with a fabulous collection of R&B and Soul classics. Meanwhile, over at the Selborne Arms, The Hanging Tree Band from Liss will be playing some foot-stomping music on Saturday night.

We will also be continuing the Home Brew Competition, so if there’s a beer or wine you’ve made that you’re particularly pleased with then bring it along on the Saturday lunchtime session.

Advance ticket prices are reduced to £8 this year and will be £10 on the door so it pays to get your tickets early! The tickets include 3 drink tokens to get you started, a souvenir glass, festival guide and entry to all sessions and live music. 

The ZigZagFest is a not-for profit event organized and run by local people and we rely on your support to keep the event going – we look forward to seeing you there! Any profits we make will go to local charities, good causes or other community events.
