English Pale Ale with a light amber gleam and captivating aromatics of ripe mango and freshly squeezed grapefruit.
Using the finest Maris Otter malting barley and aromatic Fuggles hops, delicious, fruity Cascade and Amarillo hops and, of course, purest Mendip Spring Water, Rare Breed is a distinctive, clean tasting pale ale with a smooth, citrus twist. A bold, standout beer that’s one of a kind.
Brewed using the ever popular English Goldings with the addition of Fuggle Hops, pale and dark malts, with a small amount of invert sugar, combine to form a rich, smooth traditional dark ale.
Brewed using Slovenian Stryian Golding hops which impart a zesty Lime flavour. The mix of Cara malt and Wheat malt give a smooth, creamy body to the beer.
One of our original recipes brewed since 1997, a Pale Ale with copious amounts of American Cascade hops. Wonderfully aromatic floral nose balanced by a gentle bitterness with a hint of sweetness. No wonder this beer has won the most awards of all the beers in our range.
A traditional English bitter brewed using water from the Hampshire chalk hills. Full and clean tasting, initially malty then tangerine fruit and resinous hop build to a quenching bitter finish. Camra Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2008.
If you want a beer with attitude, try new Notorious P.I.G! Our latest cask take on an East Coast Pale Ale may only be 3.8% but it’s brimful of Centennial, Mosaic and Mandarina Bavaria hops, then dry hopped with Mount Hood and Amarillo. Tropical fruit notes fuse with tangerine and citrus for a refreshing treat.
Lovely toffee and mild fruit flavour with a lovely bitterness, slight hint of nuttiness.
A stout that Rocky would drink in a full-on 80s montage! Full of body and character but as smooth as the Italian Stallion! The Fuggles hops add to its earthy goodness and provide a light bittering that compliments the coffee, chocolate and barley hints, making it a stout for every occasion.
A strong traditional ale, uses a blend of Thomas Faucett Golden Promise Pale Ale, Crisp Pale Wheat, and Crisp Black Malts, Celeia and East Kent Goldings Hop Pellets and Lallemand Nottingham Yeast.
A hoppy Bavarian style lager specially brewed for the OktobeerFest and called ‘LagerMate’ in response to the question ‘got any lager mate’ which we often get asked
The award winning Lamplight Porter is the strongest of our core beers. It's made in the style of the London Porters of the 19th century with plenty of brown malt adding complexity of flavour. Chocolate and coffee flavours come through together with a robust bitterness from English hops.
Delicious traditional amber Best Bitter. Deceptively drinkable.
Venue : Selborne Arms

Premium golden craft ale. Fortyniner, is bright and full of rich flavours to satisfy the most refined palate.
This pale-straw coloured beer delivers complete satisfaction. The robust, international flavours of Chinook and Sorachi Ace hops combine with Maris Otter and the body-builder Cara-Pils malts to form a smooth and complex drinking experience.
A dark copper coloured beer with plenty of malt in the mouth and a good whack of bitterness from traditonally English hops. Thirst quencingly bitter but light in alcohol, Bunny Chaser makes the perfect quaffing beer.
Strong pale ale- sharp and refreshing with a crisp, clean bitterness and heaps of cascade and comet hops providing a floral, peppery aroma with hints of grapefruit
A session IPA with a wholesome and smooth malt base meshed with fresh hoppy, floral flavour
A pale, golden quaffing ale with excellent flavours for its strength. Pleasingly hoppy throughout without being aggressive and also possessing of a fine aroma. The finish is dry with a small twist of sweetness at the end. If you feel that this is all rather pretentious then it can best be described as a bloody nice pint!
